How do I start a chat?

A chat is a private conversation between you and one other person.

1. Open GSN and tap the square button at the bottom right of Messages.
2. Tap Start New Chat.
3. In Search users..., type the person's name or ID.
4. Tap their name. Your chat opens, ready for your first message.

On an iPad or tablet, the square button is at the bottom of the Messages list on the left.
